No cookies, no advertising, no tracking across other sites, no accounts, no forms. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and load times without cookies and without building a profile of you. Our host, Cloudflare, also keeps standard server and security logs, including IP addresses, under its own retention, to deliver the site and stop attacks; we consult them only to investigate attacks. We look at totals, not individual visitors.
Tools on anantus.org run on your own machine. They make no network connections and send nothing to us.
If you write to us, we keep your message and address to answer you and to run any work we agree on. We never sell, rent or share them for marketing, and we add you to a mailing list only if you ask to subscribe to our field notes (reply "unsubscribe" to leave). Ask, and we delete them within 30 days, except for anything we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
Client work is covered by the signed client authorization. In short: information from your systems is confidential and is used only for your engagement. Copies we need for the work are disclosed to you and deleted when the engagement ends, except the session recordings. Session recordings are kept for three years, then deleted unless needed for a dispute. You get your own copy of each recording. We may use third-party software and services bound by confidentiality to process engagement information, and we name them on request. If we work together, the signer's name and email go to our electronic-signature service to collect the signature.
